working full shift from 8 to 6

monday
mother tagged along. reached ngee ann poly at 9 am. by 11 am, mother was already feeling lethargic and hungry so sister bought rice and this giant/dinosaur chicken drumlet which was very very cheap. after all that, mother went home to sleep and left me all alone. :( i was feeling a lil bit nervous lah with all the customers and all that crap. the first ever experience with an unknown customer was very nerve-wrecking. my hands were practically shaking when i got the money from her and giving her a new pair of earrings. LOL! so then, a few more people shopped and i got used to the smiling, the politeness, the roll-eyeness, the humor, the blablablabla. and of course the ultimate BOREDOM when the students are away for their lessons. annddd the nyonya ketibu (ketiak busuk) slash hapakok (bau hapak) which is my neighbour tenant.

tuesday
mother didnt tag along. so my sporting bald 36 yr old uncle who wishes he is still 19 accompanied me. and this time i brought the laptop which was quite entertaining cos of the free internet access and the music. andd today is the first time, a guy bought my earrings. the whole story goes like this, he was walking around the atrium with a bunch of friends (he's a malay guy, btw) and came across my table and look at my stuffs and took a earring and complimented that its pretty and then he said to his friends, "eh guys wait up, i want to buy these for my girlfriend lah". and he bought it and i psycho-ed him into buying the one-dollar pretty giftbox and he did! and he is soooo sweet & thoughtful and i bet he bought it for no special occasion except that he love his gf.. awwwwwwww.. so sweet. okay. do you know tt there is a cafe at np? but the cafe latte sucks! the nyonya even forgot to put the foam on top of my drink! and i asked if she can add hazelnut syrup because clearly there is the syrup bottle behind her and she said she dont have one. doinksss!
